Thank you for visiting.  We hope this site will stimulate a greater curiosity and hunger for the God of the Bible. 

Jesus said “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for me and for the gospel will save it.”  There are numerous places where the Scripture clearly says that a Christian is someone who loves God more than anything or anyone else.  This love is demonstrated by loving one another.  Some churches have lowered this standard out of embarrassment of God’s judgment while many other churches have exchanged this standard for one of lip service to doctrinal orthodoxy.  In his book, Tortured for Christ, Richard Wurmbrand said that it was a cause of great rejoicing when believers in persecuted nations met a "serious Christian" from the West.  In Acts 2:42-47, Luke gave us a description, not of the super-church, but just what a church will look like that knows God and loves each other. 

We must remove the log from our own eye.  We do not pretend to have arrived at being what the Bible describes as a healthy church.  May God sanctify, heal, and revive us so that we will be the body of Christ and light to a world desperate for authentic Christianity.
